Opened in March 2016, TY5 is a four-story, purpose-built facility with earthquake resistant construction, offering over 700 cabinets at full build. The building is located about 100 metres (300 feet) from TY3, the home of Tokyo’s most vibrant financial ecosystem. The two sites are connected via dark fibre, giving customers direct access to the heart of Tokyo’s trading landscape and the most important FX electronic trading venue in Asia.

Every Equinix data centre uses technology and techniques that reduce its environmental footprint, and TY5 is no exception. It is targeted for a LEED Gold rating. For your comfort and convenience TY5 offers a variety of customer amenities like customer lounges, conference rooms and Wi-Fi, as well as workstations for equipment, upgrades and repair.
